What I like most about being a Stratus MBA Admissions Counselor:

I’ve always really enjoyed coaching, especially helping people with different expertise articulate what makes their story unique and compelling. It is exciting to utilize the strategic positioning and communication skills I have developed throughout my career to help clients best position themselves for success in the MBA admission process.

One piece of advice I would share with someone who is applying to business school:

When writing your essays, make sure to first focus on the content in your outlines. After the first draft, let it sit for a few days and then go back and closely edit given the context of the rest of your application. Once you have the content right, make sure the language is as clear and concise as possible.

3 Random Facts:

  • As a camp counselor I taught tennis to novice players. I learned a lot about patience.
  • My love of trains began with spending hours riding trains with my grandfathers and has continued into adulthood. I have been known to force travel companions to spend way too much time at esoteric transportation museums around the world.
  • I love good food and will spend hours researching and planning for restaurants in advance of a trip.
