I can’t thank you enough for your support …you served both as a sounding board and an influential voice throughout the process. I have said many times, I shudder to think of what my application would have looked like without you.
I had the unique experience of working with Stratus Admissions Counseling for two application seasons. In 2016, my counselor helped me get accepted to three elite MBA programs. However, unforeseeable circumstances forced me to postpone my plans to pursue an MBA. Because I had such a great experience in the past, when I was ready to reapply, I contacted my counselor at Stratus immediately to ask her if she was willing to help me again. This has proven to be one of the best decisions that I have ever made, as I was accepted by five elite MBA programs this year with scholarships from four of them.
From my first consultation call, my counselor was honest with me. She straight up told me that H/S/W would be a very uphill climb, but that she would do everything in her power to help me achieve that goal. My counselor was extremely supportive and provided a very personalized experience. She took the effort to really get to know me – where I come from, where I want to go, what my beliefs and motivations were, in order to help me tell my story. I am so grateful for everything she did for me. Yes, using an admissions consultant is pricey, but it is well worth getting into your dream school.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with the counseling services of Stratus Admissions Counseling. They provided great support at each step to review, improve and validate my MBA story. Initially, when I signed up with Stratus, I was very nervous about the application process. My Counselor kept me motivated and on schedule.
From brainstorming essays to preparing for the interview and everything in between, I could always tell my counselor had taken the time to think critically about my story/application and she ultimately provided excellent advice every step of the way.
Asking Stratus to assist with my applications was one of the best decisions I made all year. As someone from an atypical background, it was critical that I had someone to guide me through the process. They helped me portray who I am in a way that would resonate with Admissions Committee members…I was presenting the best “me” possible.
I was very happy with the help I received from Stratus. My counselor gave me helpful feedback and turned around edits in a timely fashion. I can say with confidence that my applications were significantly stronger because of his feedback and our rounds of editing. It was clear he has a lot of knowledge about the admissions process and he was always able to convey his feedback in a direct and honest manner. Given how competitive the admissions process is, I’m really glad that I took advantage of this resource. The extra help goes a long way.
I’ve just wrapped up my first month at Harvard Business School and wanted to take the time to write you a thank you note…it has already been a transformational experience. The changes have been measurable as I think back about who and where I was last year. Thank you so much for believing in me and for supporting me throughout this journey. I can’t state how much your support means to me, I’m forever grateful.
I used Stratus Admissions Counseling last year for my MBA application. They assigned a team of four consultants to me. It was a wonderful experience! I got into Wharton—very thankful for the support I got from Stratus.
I started relatively late in the process and almost gave up applying Columbia early in the process. My Stratus Counselor provided support and guidance. I am really enjoying Columbia right now and learning and growing everyday!
I highly recommend working with Stratus Admissions. My counselor worked with me to set a realistic timeline, was always flexible, and was great about keeping me on track. She was extremely responsive and knowledgeable about the programs and would reach out to her peers at Stratus to help. I was ultimately accepted to three top-10 programs and will be headed to my dream school this fall!
I realized how much I learned from my counselor. I learned to add specific details, to question every sentence and to double-check its significance in the essay… I also learned how to tell a story by focusing on the “why” and my learnings while sharing experiences.
