Mariya earned her BS in economics with concentrations in finance and real estate. She also has a certificate in Spanish.

Mariya spent several years as a real estate private equity analyst in Deutsche Bank’s New York City and London offices following her graduation from Wharton. After deciding to switch gears and transition to healthcare, Mariya pursued her MBA at Harvard Business School, where she was actively involved in the Healthcare Club and Healthcare Initiative.

Before joining Stratus, Mariya worked as a senior consultant in the Strategic Planning Division of Kaiser Permanente where she led cross-functional teams in spreading and scaling cost-saving initiatives as well as deploying quality and service improvements across the Hawaii region.

– Before moving to chilly Ithaca, I spent the last six years ringing in the New Year on a stand-up paddleboard in Hickam Harbor, Hawaii.
