A little more in-depth

What I like most about being a Stratus MBA Admissions Counselor:

Having the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life via their application process. I love getting clients to think about what they really want and brainstorming the best way to get them there.

One piece of advice I would share with someone who is applying to business school:

Start early! I’d recommend keeping a journal or notebook handy to jot essay ideas down well before the applications come out. The prompts change every year, but your ideas are YOU!

3 Random Facts:

– My husband and I were admitted to HBS as one of three married-to-each-other couples in our class.
– I’ve lived in Holland, Norway, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, and Saudi Arabia (plus New Orleans, New York, Boston, Houston, Midland, Seminole, and Anchorage domestically). I’ve visited nearly everywhere else, but we keep going back to New Delhi, where my husband’s family lives. Dubai was my favorite adventure with Hong Kong following as a close second.
– I LOVE ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, coffee, praline, cookie dough, rocky road….). I love ice cream so much that even my ranch property is minutes from an ice cream factory!
