Ross has 6+ years of experience managing projects and leading teams in for-profit, non-profit, and government organizations.
Ross started his career as a consultant for three years with Bain & Company before shifting his career focus first to international development and then to education. After a six-month externship with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Ross spent a year living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as a program associate with the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency.
He then began a three-year dual-degree graduate program, splitting time between the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he earned a Master of Public Administration in International Development, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he earned an MBA. During his summers, Ross interned abroad in South Africa (at a growth equity firm called Knife Capital and a school system called the African School for Excellence) and India (at the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund).
Ross switched shifted focus after graduation from international education to US education, working at Summit Public schools in the Bay Area, California, as Director of Summer Programs and then Senior Director of Research.
